Chengdu Travel Guide

Chengdu is the capital of the Sichuan province of China and is the fifth most populous city of China. Since it is regarded as the economic hub of China therefore entrepreneurs are the principal visitors here, though because of its weather and interesting sightseeing spots leisure travelers also frequent this place.

Overview: Chengdu has an interesting history. More than 2300 years ago civilization started here when king Kaiming IX first shifted his capital from Shuangliu to Chengdu. Chengdu, whose name means 'became a capital' in Chinese, has a unique climatic condition.
